পবিত্র বাইবেলের ১০০ ভার্স।

১. "তখন জঙ্গল হইতে দুইটা ভাল্লুক বাহির হইয়া বালকদের মধ্যে ৪২ জনকে ছিঁড়িয়া ফেলিল"। (২ রাজাবলি ২:২৪)  

"And there came forth two bears out of the wood, and tore forty and two children of them"। (2 Kings 2:24)

২. "তখন সদাপ্রভু গাধার মুখ খুলিয়া দিলেন, আর সে বিলিয়ামকে কহিল, আমি তোমার কি করিয়াছি যে তুমি আমাকে তিনবার মারিলে?"। (গণনাপুস্তক ২২:২৮)  

"Then the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and it said to Balaam, What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?"। (Numbers 22:28)

৩. "পাত্র সকল পরিপূর্ণ হইলে সে আপন পুত্রকে কহিল, আমাকে আর একটা পাত্র আনিয়া দেও। সে কহিল, আর পাত্র নাই। তখন তেল থামিয়া গেল"। (২ রাজাবলি ৪:৬)  

"And when the vessels were full, she said to her son, Bring me another vessel. And he said to her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stopped"। (2 Kings 4:6)

৪. "আর সূর্য থামিয়া রহিল, চন্দ্রও স্থির রহিল, যতক্ষণ জাতি শত্রুর উপরে প্রতিশোধ না লইল"। (যিহোশূয় ১০:১৩)  

"And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the nation took vengeance on their enemies"। (Joshua 10:13)

৫. "আর সদাপ্রভু একটা বড় মাছ নিযুক্ত করিলেন যোনাকে গিলিয়া ফেলিতে; যোনা মাছের পেটে তিন দিন তিন রাত্রি রহিলেন"। (যোনা ১:১৭)  

"And the LORD appointed a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights"। (Jonah 1:17)

৬. "পরে সে মশাল জ্বালিয়া শিয়ালদের লেজে লেজে বাঁধিয়া পলেষ্টীয়দের শস্যক্ষেতে ছাড়িয়া দিল"। (বিচারকর্তৃগণ ১৫:৫)  

"And when he had set the torches on fire, he let the foxes go into the standing grain of the Philistines"। (Judges 15:5)

৭. "আর যবের পিষ্টক ভক্ষণ করিবে; তুমি তাহাদের দৃষ্টিতে মনুষ্যের মল দ্বারা তাহা পাক করিবে"। (যিহিষ্কেল ৪:১২)  

"And you shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it with dung that comes out of man, in their sight"। (Ezekiel 4:12)

৮. "তখন তিনি তাহাকে কহিলেন, দেখ, আমি তোমাকে মনুষ্যের মলের পরিবর্তে গোময় দিলাম; তাহার উপরে তুমি আপন রুটি পাক করিবে"। (যিহিষ্কেল ৪:১৫)  

"Then he said to me, Behold, I have given you cow’s dung instead of human dung, and you shall prepare your bread on it"। (Ezekiel 4:15)

৯. "দাউদ দৌড়িয়া গিয়া পলেষ্টীয়ের উপরে দাঁড়াইল, তাহার তরোয়াল খাপ হইতে বাহির করিয়া তাহাকে মারিয়া তাহার মাথা কাটিয়া ফেলিল"। (১ শমূয়েল ১৭:৫১)  

"Then David ran and stood over the Philistine and took his sword and cut off his head"। (1 Samuel 17:51)

১০. "আইস, আমরা আমাদের পিতাকে দ্রাক্ষারস পান করাইয়া তাহার সহিত শয়ন করি, যেন আমাদের পিতার বংশ রক্ষা করি"। (আদিপুস্তক ১৯:৩২)  

"Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve offspring from our father"। (Genesis 19:32)

১১. "সন্ধ্যাকালে কবুতরটি তাহার নিকটে ফিরিয়া আসিল, আর দেখ, তাহার মুখে জলপাই গাছের একটা নূতন পাতা"। (আদিপুস্তক ৮:১১)  

"And the dove came back to him in the evening, and behold, in her mouth was a freshly plucked olive leaf"। (Genesis 8:11)

১২. "সে অধর্মের বেতন দিয়া এক ক্ষেত কিনিল, আর অধোমুখে পড়িয়া তাহার উদর বিদীর্ণ হইল, তাহার সমস্ত নাড়ি বাহির হইয়া গেল"। (প্রেরিত ১:১৮)  

"Now this man acquired a field with the reward of his wickedness, and falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out"। (Acts 1:18)

১৩. "পরে সে সেই রৌপ্য মুদ্রা মন্দিরে ফেলিয়া দিয়া প্রস্থান করিল, এবং গিয়া গলায় দড়ি দিল"। (মথি ২৭:৫)  

"And throwing down the pieces of silver into the temple, he departed, and he went and hanged himself"। (Matthew 27:5)

১৪. "আর যাকোব যোসেফের পিতা, মরিয়মের স্বামী; মরিয়ম হইতে যিশু জন্মিয়াছেন"। (মথি ১:১৬)  

"And Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born"। (Matthew 1:16)

১৫. "আর যিশু বয়সে প্রায় ত্রিশ বৎসর বয়স্ক ছিলেন, তিনি যোসেফের পুত্র বলিয়া লোকের নিকটে পরিচিত ছিলেন; সেই যোসেফ হেলির পুত্র"। (লূক ৩:২৩)  

"Jesus, when he began his ministry, was about thirty years of age, being the son, as was supposed, of Joseph, the son of Heli"। (Luke 3:23)

১৬. "আর কবর মধ্যে প্রবেশ করিয়া তাহারা দেখিল, এক যুবা শুভ্র বস্ত্র পরিয়া ডান দিকে বসিয়া আছেন"। (মার্ক ১৬:৫)  

"And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe"। (Mark 16:5)

১৭. "পরে এমন হইল, তাহারা এ বিষয়ে অত্যন্ত অস্থির হইলে, দেখ, দুইজন পুরুষ দীপ্তিময় বস্ত্রে তাহাদের নিকটে দাঁড়াইলেন"। (লূক ২৪:৪)  

"While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel"। (Luke 24:4)

১৮. "তৃতীয় প্রহরে তাঁহাকে ক্রুশে দিল"। (মার্ক ১৫:২৫)  

"And it was the third hour when they crucified him"। (Mark 15:25)

১৯. "তাহা প্রস্তুতি দিন ছিল, প্রায় ষষ্ঠ প্রহর; তখন পীলাত যিহূদীদেরকে কহিলেন, দেখ, তোমাদের রাজা"। (যোহন ১৯:১৪)  

"Now it was the day of Preparation of the Passover. It was about the sixth hour. He said to the Jews, Behold, your King!"। (John 19:14)

২০. "কে বন্য-গর্দভকে স্বাধীন করিয়া ছাড়িয়া দিয়াছে? কে তাহার বন্ধন খুলিয়া দিয়াছে?"। (ইয়োব ৩৯:৫)  

"Who has let the wild donkey go free? Who has loosed the bonds of the swift donkey?"। (Job 39:5)

২১. "আর সে তথা হইতে বেথেলে গেল; সে পথ দিয়া যাইতেছিল, এমন সময়ে কতগুলি ক্ষুদ্র বালক নগর হইতে বাহির হইয়া তাহাকে বিদ্রূপ করিয়া বলিল, হে টাক মাথা, উঠিয়া যা"। (২ রাজাবলি ২:২৩)  

"And he went up from there to Bethel, and while he was going up on the way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him, saying, Go up, you baldhead!"। (2 Kings 2:23)

২২. "তখন সদাপ্রভু সদোম ও ঘমোরা উপরে আকাশ হইতে গন্ধক ও আগুন বর্ষাইলেন"। (আদিপুস্তক ১৯:২৪)  

"Then the LORD rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the LORD out of heaven"। (Genesis 19:24)

২৩. "সে একটা দাঁড়কাক ছাড়িয়া দিল; তাহা জল শুকাইয়া যাওয়া পর্যন্ত এদিক-ওদিক উড়িয়া বেড়াইল"। (আদিপুস্তক ৮:৭)  

"He sent forth a raven. And it went to and fro until the waters were dried up from the earth"। (Genesis 8:7)

২৪. "তখন সদাপ্রভু মাছকে আদেশ করিলেন, তাহাতে সে যোনাকে ডাঙায় বমি করিয়া ফেলিল"। (যোনা ২:১০)  

"Then the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah out upon the dry land"। (Jonah 2:10)

২৫. "পরে সে একটা গর্দভের তাজা চোয়ালের হাড় পাইল, তাহা হাতে লইয়া এক হাজার লোককে মারিল"। (বিচারকর্তৃগণ ১৫:১৫)  

"And he found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, and put out his hand and took it, and with it he struck down a thousand men"। (Judges 15:15)

২৬. "গাধা বিলিয়ামকে দেখিয়া বসিয়া পড়িল; তখন বিলিয়ামের ক্রোধ জ্বলিয়া উঠিল, সে লাঠি দিয়া গাধাকে মারিল"। (গণনাপুস্তক ২২:২৭)  

"When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she lay down under Balaam. Then Balaam’s anger was kindled, and he struck the donkey with his staff"। (Numbers 22:27)

২৭. "আর তিনি দ্রাক্ষারস পান করিয়া মত্ত হইলেন, এবং আপন তাম্বুর মধ্যে উলঙ্গ হইয়া পড়িলেন"। (আদিপুস্তক ৯:২১)  

"He drank of the wine and became drunk and lay uncovered in his tent"। (Genesis 9:21)

২৮. "তখন এক পুরুষ প্রভাত পর্যন্ত তাঁহার সহিত কুস্তি করিল"। (আদিপুস্তক ৩২:২৪)  

"And a man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day"। (Genesis 32:24)

২৯. "দেখ, অগ্নির রথ ও অগ্নির অশ্ব আসিয়া তাহাদের দুইজনকে পৃথক করিল; পরে এলীয় ঘূর্ণিবায়ুতে স্বর্গে উঠিয়া গেলেন"। (২ রাজাবলি ২:১১)  

"Behold, chariots of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven"। (2 Kings 2:11)

৩০. "ভোজের সর্দার জল দ্রাক্ষারস হইয়াছে দেখিয়া বরের নিকটে ডাকিয়া কহিলেন, তুমি ভাল দ্রাক্ষারস শেষ পর্যন্ত রাখিয়া দিয়াছ"। (যোহন ২:১০)  

"When the steward of the feast tasted the water now become wine, he called the bridegroom and said to him, You have kept the good wine until now"। (John 2:10)

৩১. "আমি তোমার জিহ্বা তোমার তালুর সহিত লাগাইয়া দিব, তাহাতে তুমি বোবা হইবে"। (যিহিষ্কেল ৩:২৬)  

"And I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth, so that you shall be mute"। (Ezekiel 3:26)

৩২. "তুমি বাম দিকে শুইয়া ইস্রায়েল কুলের অপরাধ নিজের উপরে রাখ"। (যিহিষ্কেল ৪:৪)  

"Then lie on your left side, and I will lay the punishment of the house of Israel upon you"। (Ezekiel 4:4)

৩৩. "তুমি একটা তীক্ষ্ণ খড়্গ লইয়া মাথার ও দাড়ির চুল কামাও"। (যিহিষ্কেল ৫:১)  

"Take a sharp sword and use it as a barber’s razor to cut your hair and your beard"। (Ezekiel 5:1)

৩৪. "কিন্তু লোটের স্ত্রী পিছন ফিরিয়া চাহিল, তাহাতে সে লবণের স্তম্ভ হইয়া গেল"। (আদিপুস্তক ১৯:২৬)  

"But Lot’s wife, behind him, looked back, and she became a pillar of salt"। (Genesis 19:26)

৩৫. "মোশি পিতলের একটা সাপ নির্মাণ করিয়া খুঁটিতে লাগাইলেন; আর সর্প দংশিত কোন লোক সেই পিতলের সাপের দিকে দৃষ্টি করিলে বাঁচিত"। (গণনাপুস্তক ২১:৯)  

"So Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on a pole. And if a serpent bit anyone, he would look at the bronze serpent and live"। (Numbers 21:9)

৩৬. "আর রাত্রির চতুর্থ প্রহরে যিশু হ্রদের উপরে দিয়া তাহাদের নিকটে আসিতেছিলেন"। (মথি ১৪:২৫)  

"And in the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea"। (Matthew 14:25)

৩৭. "তিনি মাটিতে থুথু ফেলিয়া তাহা দিয়া কাদা করিলেন, আর সেই কাদা অন্ধের চোখে লাগাইলেন"। (যোহন ৯:৬)  

"Having spit on the ground, he made mud with the saliva. Then he anointed the man’s eyes with the mud"। (John 9:6)

৩৮. "তখন সেই অশুচি আত্মারা বাহির হইয়া শূকরদের মধ্যে গেল; আর পালটি ধাবমান হইয়া হ্রদে পড়িয়া গেল"। (মার্ক ৫:১৩)  

"So the unclean spirits came out and entered the pigs, and the herd, numbering about two thousand, rushed down the steep bank into the sea"। (Mark 5:13)

৩৯. "এলীয় উত্তর দিয়া সেনাপতিকে কহিলেন, আমি যদি ঈশ্বরের লোক হই, তবে আকাশ হইতে আগুন নামিয়া তোমাকে ও তোমার পঞ্চাশজনকে গ্রাস করুক"। (২ রাজাবলি ১:১০)  

"Elijah answered the captain of fifty, If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty"। (2 Kings 1:10)

৪০. "দলীলা তাহার মাথার সাতগাছি চুল কামাইয়া লইল; আর সে দুর্বল হইয়া পড়িল"। (বিচারকর্তৃগণ ১৬:১৯)  

"She made him sleep on her knees. Then she called a man and had him shave off the seven locks of his head, and he began to grow weak"। (Judges 16:19)

৪১. "তিনি তাহার ঊরুর সন্ধিতে আঘাত করিলেন, তাহাতে যাকোবের ঊরুর সন্ধি কুস্তি করিবার সময়ে ঠুকে গেল"। (আদিপুস্তক ৩২:২৫)  

"When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he touched his hip socket, and Jacob’s hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him"। (Genesis 32:25)

৪২. "গাধা সদাপ্রভুর দূতকে দেখিতে পাইল, তিনি খোলা তরোয়াল হাতে পথে দাঁড়াইয়া ছিলেন"। (গণনাপুস্তক ২২:২৩)  

"And the donkey saw the angel of the LORD standing in the road, with a drawn sword in his hand"। (Numbers 22:23)

৪৩. "লোকেরা জয়ধ্বনি করিল, তূরী বাজাইল; আর প্রাচীর ভূমিসাৎ হইল, লোকেরা যে যেখানে ছিল সেইখান দিয়া নগরে উঠিয়া গেল"। (যিহোশূয় ৬:২০)  

"So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the wall fell down flat"। (Joshua 6:20)

৪৪. "তাহারা খাইল, আর অবশিষ্ট রাখিল, সদাপ্রভুর বাক্যানুসারে তাহাই হইল"। (২ রাজাবলি ৪:৪৪)  

"So they ate and had some left, according to the word of the LORD"। (2 Kings 4:44)

৪৫. "পাঁচখানি রুটি ও দুইটা মাছ লইয়া স্বর্গের দিকে চাহিয়া আশীর্বাদ করিলেন; পরে রুটি ভাঙিয়া শিষ্যদিগকে দিলেন"। (মথি ১৪:১৯)  

"Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples"। (Matthew 14:19)

৪৬. "তিনি এখানে নাই; তিনি উঠিয়াছেন, যেমন বলিয়াছিলেন। আইস, দেখ, তিনি যেখানে শুইয়াছিলেন"। (মথি ২৮:৬)  

"He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay"। (Matthew 28:6)

৪৭. "আমরা বাবিলের নদীতীরে বসিয়া সিয়োনের কথা স্মরণ করিয়া কাঁদিলাম"। (গীতসংহিতা ১৩৭:১)  

"By the waters of Babylon, there we sat down and wept, when we remembered Zion"। (Psalm 137:1)

৪৮. "মাছের পেট হইতে যোনা সদাপ্রভু আপন ঈশ্বরের কাছে প্রার্থনা করিলেন"। (যোনা ২:১)  

"Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from the belly of the fish"। (Jonah 2:1)

৪৯. "দাউদ গিয়া পলেষ্টীয়দের দুইশত অগ্রচর্ম ছেদন করিয়া আনিল, এবং তাহা রাজার নিকটে গণিয়া দিল"। (১ শমূয়েল ১৮:২৭)  

"David went and cut off two hundred foreskins of the Philistines, and brought their foreskins, which were given in full number to the king"। (1 Samuel 18:27)

৫০. "যিহূদা তামরের সহিত শয়ন করিল; তাহাতে সে তাহা হইতে গর্ভবতী হইল"। (আদিপুস্তক ৩৮:১৮)  

"He went in to her, and she conceived by him"। (Genesis 38:18)

৫১. "সে জানালা দিয়া লাল দড়ি বাঁধিয়া দিল; তাহাতে রাহব ও তাহার পিতৃকুল বাঁচিল"। (যিহোশূয় ২:২১)  

"Then she tied the scarlet cord in the window; so she saved her father’s household"। (Joshua 2:21)

৫২. "সদাপ্রভুর আত্মা তাহার উপরে আসিল, সে ছাগশাবকের ন্যায় সিংহকে চিরিয়া ফেলিল, কিন্তু তাহা পিতামাতাকে বলিল না"। (বিচারকর্তৃগণ ১৪:৬)  

"The Spirit of the LORD rushed upon him, and though he had nothing in his hand, he tore the lion in pieces as one tears a young goat"। (Judges 14:6)

৫৩. "আমি ভাববাণী কহিলাম, আর হাড়ে হাড়ে শব্দ হইল; পরে হাড়ে হাড়ে জোড় লাগিল"। (যিহিষ্কেল ৩৭:৭)  

"So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a sound, and behold, a rattling, and the bones came together"। (Ezekiel 37:7)

৫৪. "গাধা কহিল, আমি কি তোমার গাধা নহি? আমি কি তোমার সারাজীবন তোমাকে বহন করি নাই?"। (গণনাপুস্তক ২২:৩০)  

"The donkey said to Balaam, Am I not your donkey, on which you have ridden all your life long to this day?"। (Numbers 22:30)

৫৫. "কাকেরা সকালবেলায় তাহার নিকটে রুটি ও মাংস আনিত, আর সন্ধ্যাবেলায়ও রুটি ও মাংস আনিত"। (১ রাজাবলি ১৭:৬)  

"And the ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening"। (1 Kings 17:6)

৫৬. "দেখ, একটা মই পৃথিবীতে স্থাপিত আছে, তাহার শীর্ষ স্বর্গ স্পর্শ করিতেছে; আর ঈশ্বরের দূতগণ তাহার উপরে উঠানামা করিতেছে"। (আদিপুস্তক ২৮:১২)  

"And behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven. And behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it"। (Genesis 28:12)

৫৭. "সে তাহা ভূমিতে ফেলিল, তাহা সাপ হইল; আর মোশি সাপের হইতে পলায়ন করিল"। (যাত্রাপুস্তক ৪:৩)  

"He cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent, and Moses ran from it"। (Exodus 4:3)

৫৮. "তাঁহার মুখ সূর্যের ন্যায় দীপ্তি পাইল, আর বস্ত্র তুষারের ন্যায় শুভ্র হইল"। (মথি ১৭:২)  

"And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light"। (Matthew 17:2)

৫৯. "আমার ঈশ্বর আপন দূত পাঠাইয়া সিংহদের মুখ বন্ধ করিলেন, তাহাতে তাহারা আমার কোন হানি করিল না"। (দানিয়েল ৬:২২)  

"My God sent his angel and shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not harmed me"। (Daniel 6:22)

৬০. "তুমি একটা ইট লইয়া তাহার উপরে জেরুজালেম নগর আঁক; আর তাহার বিরুদ্ধে অবরোধ স্থাপন কর"। (যিহিষ্কেল ৪:১)  

"Take a brick and lay it before you, and portray upon it a city, even Jerusalem. And put siegeworks against it"। (Ezekiel 4:1)

৬১. "পলেষ্টীয়রা সামসনকে ধরিয়া তাহার চক্ষু উপড়াইয়া লইল, এবং তাহাকে গাজায় আনিয়া পিতলের শিকলে বাঁধিল"। (বিচারকর্তৃগণ ১৬:২১)  

"Then the Philistines seized him and gouged out his eyes and brought him down to Gaza and bound him with bronze shackles"। (Judges 16:21)

৬২. "যাহারা খাইল তাহারা পুরুষ প্রায় পাঁচ হাজার; স্ত্রীলোক ও বালকেরা তাহাদের মধ্যে গণ্য নহে"। (মথি ১৪:২১)  

"And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children"। (Matthew 14:21)

৬৩. "জাহাজের দৈর্ঘ্য তিনশত হাত, প্রস্থ পঞ্চাশ হাত, উচ্চতা ত্রিশ হাত করিবে"। (আদিপুস্তক ৬:১৫)  

"The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its breadth fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits"। (Genesis 6:15)

৬৪. "এলিশা নুন লইয়া পানির ঝরণায় ফেলিয়া দিলেন, এবং কহিলেন, সদাপ্রভু এই কথা কহেন, আমি এই জল মিষ্ট করিলাম"। (২ রাজাবলি ২:২১)  

"Then he went to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said, Thus says the LORD, I have healed this water"। (2 Kings 2:21)

৬৫. "যিশু উচ্চৈঃস্বরে ডাকিলেন, হে লাসার, বাহিরে আইস। মৃত ব্যক্তি কফন জড়ানো হাতে পায়ে বাহির হইয়া আসিল"। (যোহন ১১:৪৩)  

"Then he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come out. The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips"। (John 11:43)

৬৬. "যাকোব রাহেলের জন্য সাত বৎসর খাটিল; তাহা তাহার নিকটে কয়েকদিনের ন্যায় বোধ হইল, কেননা সে তাহাকে ভালবাসিত"। (আদিপুস্তক ২৯:২০)  

"So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed to him but a few days because of the love he had for her"। (Genesis 29:20)

৬৭. "তুমি তোমার বাহু অনাবৃত করিয়া জেরুজালেমের অবরোধের বিরুদ্ধে ভাববাণী বলিবে; আর তুমি তাহার দিকে দৃষ্টি রাখিবে"। (যিহিষ্কেল ৪:৭)  

"And you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and with your arm uncovered you shall prophesy against it"। (Ezekiel 4:7)

৬৮. "তাহারা খেজুরের ডাল লইয়া তাঁহার প্রত্যুদ্গমনার্থে বাহির হইল, এবং উচ্চৈঃস্বরে বলিতে লাগিল, হোশান্না"। (যোহন ১২:১৩)  

"So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out, Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!"। (John 12:13)

৬৯. "দাউদ থলি হইতে একটা পাথর লইয়া গুলতি ছুড়িয়া পলেষ্টীয়ের কপালে মারিল; পাথর তাহার কপালে বিঁধিয়া গেল"। (১ শমূয়েল ১৭:৪৯)  

"David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone and slung it and struck the Philistine on his forehead. The stone sank into his forehead"। (1 Samuel 17:49)

৭০. "সদাপ্রভু একটা তামাক গাছ উৎপন্ন করিয়া যোনার মাথার উপরে ছায়া দিলেন, যেন তাহার অসুস্থতা দূর হয়"। (যোনা ৪:৬)  

"Now the LORD God appointed a plant and made it come up over Jonah, that it might be a shade over his head, to save him from his discomfort"। (Jonah 4:6)

৭১. "সে একটা কাষ্ঠ কাটিয়া তাহা ফেলিয়া দিল, আর লোহা ভাসাইয়া তুলিল; পরে কহিল, উহা তুলিয়া লও"। (২ রাজাবলি ৬:৬)  

"Then he cut off a stick and threw it in there and made the iron float. And he said, Take it up. So he reached out his hand and took it"। (2 Kings 6:6)

৭২. "তিনি উঠিয়া বায়ুকে ধমক দিয়া সমুদ্রকে কহিলেন, স্থির হও, নীরব হও; তাহাতে বায়ু থামিল, মহা শান্তি হইল"। (মার্ক ৪:৩৯)  

"And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Peace! Be still! And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm"। (Mark 4:39)

৭৩. "মোশি পর্বত হইতে নামিয়া আসিলে তাহার মুখের চর্ম দীপ্তি পাইতেছিল; কিন্তু সে তাহা জানিত না"। (যাত্রাপুস্তক ৩৪:২৯)  

"When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, the skin of his face shone because he had been talking with God"। (Exodus 34:29)

৭৪. "তুমি চুলের এক ভাগ আগুনে পুড়াইবে, এক ভাগ খড়্গ দিয়া চারিদিকে কাটিবে, আর এক ভাগ বাতাসে উড়াইয়া দিবে"। (যিহিষ্কেল ৫:২)  

"A third part you shall burn in the fire, a third part you shall strike with the sword all around, and a third part you shall scatter to the wind"। (Ezekiel 5:2)

৭৫. "শিষ্যেরা তাঁহাকে হ্রদের উপরে দিয়া হাঁটিতে দেখিয়া ভীত হইয়া কহিল, এ একটা ভূত; আর ভয়ে চিৎকার করিল"। (মথি ১৪:২৬)  

"But when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, It is a ghost! and they cried out in fear"। (Matthew 14:26)

৭৬. "যদি গাধা পথ না ছাড়িত, তবে আমি তোমাকে বধ করিতাম, আর গাধাকে বাঁচাইয়া রাখিতাম"। (গণনাপুস্তক ২২:৩৩)  

"Otherwise, if she had not turned aside from me, surely just now I would have killed you and let her live"। (Numbers 22:33)

৭৭. "তাহারা দেখিল, পাথরখানি গড়াইয়া দেওয়া হইয়াছে; কেননা সে অতি বৃহৎ ছিল"। (মার্ক ১৬:৪)  

"And when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back—it was very large"। (Mark 16:4)

৭৮. "যিহোশূয়া সদাপ্রভুর কাছে কহিলেন, হে সূর্য, তুমি গিবিয়োনের উপরে থামিয়া থাক; হে চন্দ্র, তুমি অয়ালোন উপত্যকার উপরে থামিয়া থাক"। (যিহোশূয় ১০:১২)  

"Then Joshua spoke to the LORD, and said, Sun, stand still at Gibeon, and moon, in the Valley of Aijalon"। (Joshua 10:12)

৭৯. "লোকেরা সাপের দংশনে মরিতে লাগিল; তখন মোশি পিতলের একটা সাপ নির্মাণ করিয়া খুঁটিতে লাগাইলেন"। (গণনাপুস্তক ২১:৮)  

"Then the LORD said to Moses, Make a fiery serpent and set it on a pole, and everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live"। (Numbers 21:8)

৮০. "পাঁচখানি রুটি ও দুইটা মাছ লইয়া স্বর্গের দিকে চাহিয়া আশীর্বাদ করিলেন; পরে রুটি ভাঙিয়া শিষ্যদিগকে দিলেন, তাহারা সকলে খাইয়া তৃপ্ত হইল"। (মথি ১৪:২০)  

"And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of broken pieces and of the fish"। (Matthew 14:20)

৮১. "আর সদাপ্রভু নূহকে কহিলেন, তুমি ও তোমার সমস্ত পরিবার জাহাজের মধ্যে প্রবেশ কর; কেননা এই কালের লোকদের মধ্যে তোমাকে আমার কাছে ধার্মিক দেখিলাম"। (আদিপুস্তক ৭:১)  

"Then the LORD said to Noah, Go into the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen that you are righteous before me in this generation"। (Genesis 7:1) ঈশ্বরের সাথে কথা

৮২. "সদাপ্রভু নূহের সহিত মুখোমুখি কথা কহিলেন, যেমন একজন বন্ধু অন্য বন্ধুর সহিত কথা কয়"। (যাত্রাপুস্তক ৩৩:১১)  

"Thus the LORD used to speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend"। (Exodus 33:11) 

৮৩. "চল্লিশ দিন চল্লিশ রাত্রি ধরিয়া পৃথিবীর উপরে মুষলধারে বৃষ্টি হইল; পৃথিবীর উপরে যত প্রাণী ছিল সকলেই বিনষ্ট হইল"। (আদিপুস্তক ৭:১২, ২৩)  

"And rain fell upon the earth forty days and forty nights. Every living thing was blotted out which was on the face of the ground"। (Genesis 7:12, 23)

৮৪. "জল একশত পঞ্চাশ দিন ধরিয়া পৃথিবীর উপরে বলবত্‍ হইয়া রহিল; আর জল পৃথিবী হইতে হ্রাস পাইতে লাগিল"। (আদিপুস্তক ৮:৩)  

"And the waters prevailed on the earth 150 days. And at the end of 150 days the waters had abated"। (Genesis 8:3)

৮৫. "সদাপ্রভু তাঁহার সুগন্ধি অনুভব করিলেন; তখন সদাপ্রভু আপন মনে কহিলেন, মনুষ্যের নিমিত্ত আর ভূমিকে শাপ দিব না"। (আদিপুস্তক ৮:২১)  

"And when the LORD smelled the pleasing aroma, the LORD said in his heart, I will never again curse the ground because of man"। (Genesis 8:21)

৮৬. "ঈশ্বর নূহকে ও তাহার পুত্রগণকে আশীর্বাদ করিয়া কহিলেন, তোমরা প্রজাবান হও, বহুবৃদ্ধি হও, পৃথিবী পরিপূর্ণ কর"। (আদিপুস্তক ৯:১)  

"And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth"। (Genesis 9:1)

৮৭. "আর ঈশ্বর কহিলেন, আমি তোমাদের সহিত ও তোমাদের বংশের সহিত আমার নিয়ম স্থাপন করিতেছি; আমি মেঘে আমার চাপধনু স্থাপন করিলাম"। (আদিপুস্তক ৯:১২-১৩)  

"And God said, This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature. I have set my bow in the cloud"। (Genesis 9:12-13)

৮৮. "আর সদাপ্রভু স্বপ্নে আবীমেলকের নিকটে আসিয়া কহিলেন, দেখ, তুমি যে স্ত্রীলোককে লইয়াছ, তাহার নিমিত্ত তুমি মরিবে"। (আদিপুস্তক ২০:৩)  

"But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night and said to him, Behold, you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken"। (Genesis 20:3) ঈশ্বরের সাথে কথা

৮৯. "আর ঈশ্বর তাহাকে স্বপ্নে কহিলেন, আমিও জানি তুমি সরল মনে এই কর্ম করিয়াছ; তাই আমি তোমাকে পাপ করিতে নিষেধ করিয়াছি"। (আদিপুস্তক ২০:৬)  

"Then God said to him in the dream, Yes, I know that you have done this in the integrity of your heart, and it was I who kept you from sinning"। (Genesis 20:6)

৯০. "ঈশ্বর স্বর্গ হইতে অব্রাহামকে ডাকিয়া কহিলেন, অব্রাহাম। সে কহিল, আমি এইখানে"। (আদিপুস্তক ২২:১১)  

"But the angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, Abraham, Abraham! And he said, Here I am"। (Genesis 22:11)

৯১. "সদাপ্রভু তাঁহার নিকটে দর্শন দিয়া কহিলেন, মিসরে নামিয়া যাইও না; যে দেশের কথা আমি তোমাকে বলিব, সেই দেশে বাস কর"। (আদিপুস্তক ২৬:২)  

"And the LORD appeared to him and said, Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you"। (Genesis 26:2) ঈশ্বরের সাথে দেখা

৯২. "সদাপ্রভু তাহার উপরে দাঁড়াইয়া কহিলেন, আমি সদাপ্রভু, তোমার পিতা অব্রাহামের ঈশ্বর ও ইস্‌হাকের ঈশ্বর"। (আদিপুস্তক ২৮:১৩)  

"And behold, the LORD stood above it and said, I am the LORD, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac"। (Genesis 28:13)

৯৩. "তখন ঈশ্বর রাহেলকে স্মরণ করিলেন, এবং ঈশ্বর তাহার কথা শুনিয়া তাহার গর্ভ খুলিয়া দিলেন"। (আদিপুস্তক ৩০:২২)  

"Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb"। (Genesis 30:22)

৯৪. "আর ঈশ্বর রাত্রির স্বপ্নদর্শনে ইস্রায়েলকে কহিলেন, যাকোব, যাকোব। সে কহিল, আমি এইখানে"। (আদিপুস্তক ৪৬:২)  

"And God spoke to Israel in visions of the night and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here I am"। (Genesis 46:2)

৯৫. "ঈশ্বর জ্বলন্ত ঝোপের মধ্য হইতে তাহাকে ডাকিয়া কহিলেন, মোশি, মোশি। সে কহিল, আমি এইখানে"। (যাত্রাপুস্তক ৩:৪)  

"God called to him out of the bush, Moses, Moses! And he said, Here I am"। (Exodus 3:4) 

৯৬. "সদাপ্রভু মোশির সহিত মুখোমুখি কথা কহিতেন, যেমন একজন বন্ধু অন্য বন্ধুর সহিত কথা কয়"। (যাত্রাপুস্তক ৩৩:১১)  

"Thus the LORD used to speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend"। (Exodus 33:11)

৯৭. "সদাপ্রভু মেঘের স্তম্ভে নামিয়া আসিয়া তাম্বুর দ্বারে দাঁড়াইলেন; আর হারোণ ও মরিয়মকে ডাকিলেন"। (গণনাপুস্তক ১২:৫)  

"And the LORD came down in a pillar of cloud and stood at the entrance of the tent and called Aaron and Miriam"। (Numbers 12:5) 

৯৮. "সদাপ্রভু বিলিয়ামকে সাক্ষাত্‍ দিয়া তাহার মুখে কথা দিলেন, এবং কহিলেন, তুমি বালাকের নিকটে ফিরিয়া গিয়া এই কথা বলিও"। (গণনাপুস্তক ২৩:৫)  

"And the LORD met Balaam and put a word in his mouth and said, Return to Balak, and thus you shall speak"। (Numbers 23:5)

৯৯. "তখন সদাপ্রভু আকাশ হইতে দাউদের দৃষ্টিতে সেই দূতকে দেখাইলেন, যিনি জেরুশালেমকে সংহার করিতেছিলেন"। (১ বংশাবলি ২১:১৬)  

"And David lifted his eyes and saw the angel of the LORD standing between earth and heaven, and in his hand a drawn sword stretched out over Jerusalem"। (1 Chronicles 21:16)

১০০. "পরে যিশাইয় ভাববাদীর কাছে সদাপ্রভুর এই বাক্য উপস্থিত হইল, তুমি গিয়া হিষ্কিয়কে বল, সদাপ্রভু এই কথা কহেন"। (২ রাজাবলি ২০:৪)  

"Before Isaiah had gone out of the middle court, the word of the LORD came to him: Turn back, and say to Hezekiah the leader of my people, Thus says the LORD"। (2 Kings 20:4)
